Another mystery about David DePape on Pelosi’s murder attack.

Police in San Francisco have charged David DePape with attempted murder in connection with the home invasion attack on Paul Pelosi.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was allegedly attacked with a hammer by 42-year-old David DePape, who has a disturbing internet presence and connections to a radical nudist activist, on Friday morning in San Francisco, according to municipal police.

A Berkeley man was taken into custody after police came to a complaint at 2:30 a.m. and found the congresswoman’s 82-year-old husband, Paul Pelosi, fighting with the guy over a hammer.

Later that morning, San Francisco Police Chief William Scott told reporters that the suspect “took the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and severely beat him with it.” Immediately upon spotting the culprit, our officers tackled him, disarmed him, took him into custody, called for backup, and administered first aid.

After the event, both Pelosi and DePape were sent to local hospitals for treatment.

Pelosi was hospitalized after the incident, but according to Drew Hammill, Nancy Pelosi’s spokesman, he is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing successful surgery on a fractured skull. The attack caused Pelosi to be hospitalized.

In addition to that, he had severe wounds to his left arm as well as both of his hands.

According to Hammill, DePape issued a death threat to Paul Pelosi while simultaneously wanting to meet Pelosi’s wife.

The guy allegedly stormed into the residence and began yelling, “Where is Nancy?” earlier in the day.

“Mr. DePape will be placed into the San Francisco County Jail on charges of attempted homicide, assault with a dangerous weapon, elder abuse, burglary, and numerous other offenses,” the chief added.

He noted that the motive was still being investigated. The FBI and Capitol Police were on hand to help.

Facebook profile of David DePape

Facebook removed DePape’s profile early Friday and refused to respond to queries.

Profile not found on facebook.

At least two internet blogs using DePape’s identity contain postings from 2007 and 2022 about “censorship,” “Big Brother,” and pedophilia.

One had anti-Semitic and violent material.

It was unclear whether he was the author of the posts, and San Francisco police did not immediately answer to inquiries concerning DePape’s internet activity.

Teresa DePape, the suspect’s adoptive father Gene’s wife, told the San Francisco Chronicle that he left Canada after high school around two decades ago, and the family lost contact.

“I never considered David to be an aggressive guy,” she told the tabloid.

“I can picture David protecting himself; I’m not sure why he’s at someone else’s house looking for someone.”
